It got cold and rainy again, but at least it was a four-day work week. Usually, that’s a win, but this time it just meant every day (except Thursday) was nonstop. I only went into the office Monday through Wednesday, but here’s a breakdown of each look, what inspired it, and where everything’s from:
MONDAY
I built this outfit around my white Damson Madder top, which I love for how it reimagines the classic button-up. It has the structure of a white shirt, but with a playful twist that makes it feel a little more me. To keep the look grounded, I paired it with a simple pair of black slacks from Laundry by Shelli Segal (ThredUp find).
The outfit felt a little plain on its own, so I chose to wear my Rothy’s Mary Janes to add a pop of color. I also braided my hair to lean into the milkmaid vibe of the shirt—just a subtle styling choice, but one that helped tie the whole look together.
Tip: Hair can be your most important accessory. With every outfit, I try to think about how my hairstyle can complement or enhance the overall vibe. Sometimes it’s the finishing touch that makes the look really feel intentional.
TUESDAY
This outfit came to me the night before while I was trying to fall asleep. I realized I always tend to style this skirt the same way, and I wanted to switch it up and try something different. It also felt like the perfect vibe for a rainy day—comfortable and a little moody. Honestly, it felt like something I’d wear on a regular day outside of work, which made it feel especially true to my personal style.
WEDNESDAY
A final rainy day fit. I’ve worn a version of this outfit many times. The purple and silver skirt is beautiful, but it doesn’t offer a ton of styling options, so I usually stick with a black top and this Acne Studios sweater. It was super muggy, though, so I ended up carrying the sweater in my bag and throwing it on once I got to the office.
Two braids are not my office go-to, but on this particular day—with the humidity and how oily my hair was—they were less of a style choice and more of a necessity.
WFH(amptons)

This was the Thursday and Friday vibe—paired with way too much work on Friday. But, at least I was working from a lounge chair by the pool and having nice home-cooked meals.
